Kath is an incredible lady who lives her gift for helping individuals energise themselves. She helped me let go of what was holding me back and in bed when I needed to be writing my book.

With her help, I started rising up early to bring my dreams to life.  Thank you Kath for sharing your gift with me so I could complete my third book “Live the Gift”.

Here’s Kath in her own words.

Q: Where were you born and how has your hometown shaped you?

I was born in Parramatta, NSW and it has shaped me. My values are family, nature and history. I love the family-focused lifestyle with lots of surrounding parks, a feeling of safety and lots of families getting together for meals, outings or shopping.

Q: What are some of the best places you lived and why?

I live in Winston Hills which is completely surrounded by the beautiful Australian bush with many walks and wildlife. This has encouraged my love of beginning my day with bushwalking. I feel energized and inspired by my beautiful surroundings.

I also love the old buildings and churches that you can find in my area. I’m captivated by the history and stories of the homes and the courageous people who walked these parts.

The funny thing is that I’ve lived in four homes and only ever lived in this area. The best place I’ve lived is my current home. I love that it has beautiful open glass windows. It looks out to the pool surrounded by mini palm trees. I got to style our home with my beautiful friend, who’s a professional stylist. I love that every colour and piece of furniture was chosen by me!

Q: Which films, music, books or people have influenced you?

I’ve always loved books by Brene Brown. I connect with her deep leadership style with an open heart. I love warm-hearted women who are growing and courageous, and who want to support other women to be more than who they are today.

I love songs like Bon Jovi’s “It’s My Life” because they are powerful and move me to take action.

Q: Who are some of the professionals you look up to in your field?

I absolutely love books in the leadership and personal development space. I love work by Remi (Sharon) Pearson because she is a genius for describing continual growth and personal development principles in a clear and concise way. John Maxwell inspired me to lead with influence, which is key in how I work with my clients.

Q: What’s been your most recent discovery? Food, activity, clothing, brand, life hack, etc…

I’m digging deeper into how people communicate with others. Most of us are often only speaking from our own map without really understanding our audience. It is far more effective to communicate in a way that lands for the individual we are speaking with.
